Objects Falling Into The Sun, Hubble 2 from Space Force, Slowest Speed in the Universe | Q&A 263
How often do objects fall into the Sun? Why do some stars explode as novae, not as Type 1a supernovae? Can the US Army just donate NASA a Hubble 2? Will humans be living underground on Mars? Answering all these questions and more in this week's Q&A.

Question for next time: I'm in bed with Covid (yes it is still out there) and started to wonder if there are any new developments to the theory proposed years back that viruses might be hitching a ride on comets and dust hitting earth. The sort of virusspermia theory.
https://youtu.be/tq6OIzSmeKg?&t=17m7s - FYI regarding radiation - a few astronauts/cosmonauts have already received radiation doses equivalent to a 2.5 yr mission to mars and back. Early explorers of mars would not need to dwell underground. Long-term residence/research may be a different story, but the radiation risk is still overblown. Too much FUD.
Are gravitational waves like water waves where the energy pulse disturbs the medium, in space it would be the interstellar mediumor like electromagnetic waves the don’t need a medium?
Fraser you mentioned gravitational waves in your last Q&A. Do astronomers know if every object produces them though at smaller amplitudes?
What could have pushed Uranus over? Has this been modeled? How could we check the theory?
Andoria - BTW, can't find where to comment on the YouTube video so posting here. What am I doing wrong? I'm subscribed on YouTube.
Nimbus: Dyson Spheres are still utterly ridiculous! Just ask a quantity surveyor.
We've already started building our Dyson sphere. Each spacecraft we launch that harvests solar energy to do work is one more piece of it. Eventually, we'll harvest all the energy coming from the Sun. Or not.
