Make a STRM tutorial with zurg and get 1 month RD sub

I'm getting tons of questions about how to setup strm files with zurg but since I am not using this workflow, I am not able to provide a straight answer besides it only working on Infuse or Jellyfin or Emby. I'm gifting a 1 month RD sub to anyone who can create a tutorial (post it in r/RealDebrid or your own website, doesn't matter). 1 RD voucher per person only. To join, just comment on this post (or in the reddit post) of the tutorial you made and I'll contact you for your voucher.

Thank you!

i would love if anyone would do a proper guide, the installation is very confusing and alot of people would greatly benefit from this. kudos to anyone who will do this :)

Im using this in emby but im having issues with small stuttering every now and then. Does anyone else have this or do you have smooth playback?

it might be an RD problem, also getting this from time to time myself

So I use the setup to save the strm files in the zurg folder, but I think there's a bug with it. When I set disable stream proxy I assume the files should contain Rd download links but they do not. They still contain localhost links. Anyway, if zurg could use the metadata to rename the strm files to fit media center guidelines it would be a much better setup.

the links contained in the strm file shouldn't be an issue. it will still respect the disable_strm_proxy config value on fetch of the video.
