Hi everyone! Today, we're sharing the first of this month's Empire soldiers, and we're starting with the most iconic bread-and-butter member of their military. Spearmen serve as the default basic troop type in most armies and as guards in most cities. We've included the basic, low-level spearmen, as well as more elite versions that can guard important positions or personnel.

As with all the soldiers we're creating, these are themed around the imperial Empire, but the stat blocks are fairly flavor-neutral and can easily be ported across many cultures and fantasy races.

Stay tuned for some much more exotic and noble gunpowder fighters!
