FS25 - UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter Mod
Well I need your help to test out a new helicopter convert from FS22.
I have not had much time to play in it yet, but spent lots of time messing with the flight script to work well with a heavy helicopters I have.
winch - This is a little wonky right now it currently will grab trees and even fly with them. Its just odd for now. I need to play with the Lua more as we go.
If you encounter any lua/error issues try to get the first line it errors in log.txt and paste it below. Fix as we go! :)
Controls- Keyboard only: (Ill try to make a gamepad version, no promises)
W/S - Pitch forward/backward
A/D - Strafe left/right
Q/R - Yaw rotation
Left Mouse - Increase collective (climb)
Right Mouse - Decrease collective (descend)
Left Shift - Boost mode
Left Ctrl - Toggle altitude hold
Script Limitations:
It requires ground to not lift up, so on a bridge, house, platform you must get out or use "Left Ctrl - Toggle altitude hold" or the heli will slowly lift. If it says TAXI, you are grounded.

hey heli works great but having issues lifting bigger trees any way we can get a version that can lift heavier stuff if not thats ok jus thought ide throw it out there

I will try my best, if not... my flight stick works. you can config them ingame to the q,r,w,s,a,d
Do they have tiedowns? I noticed shift of cargo when flying
If you have cargo inside, it will stay put with pilot on board and Not Running
But that was if I put a couple of pallets. If I auto loaded it with Power Tools it went back to flying on it’s own, pilot onboard, engine off
If on a bridge, same thing, if sitting in it with engine off, up she goes
SO the Lua script starts pulling the chopper to the ground when it detects the ground X amount of feet. This was the only way to keep it from lifting off initially. So being on a bridge, Its not on actual ground, hence the lift. I am not sure how to work around that yet, even the Bell does it slightly on the bridge
I got this cool helo-pad (can’t find the name). The helo is sitting about 1 m above the ground. If you shut the engine off it rises by itself (no rotor) if you jump out it will stay put.
You just cannot sit in it with the engine off.
Winch ops???
winch works, should be normal menu controls when u are out of the chopper... I had issues with the winch sticking in the ground sometimes. I need to play with it more still. Main focus was on flying intially
I just took it out for a fly over, loved it. Worked well.
