PREVIEW: Deep Cut #1 The UK, “Invasions”, and The Spice Girls

The purpose of each deep cut is to:

• Give me a reason to gab about an element(s) of pop culture that had a direct or indirect impact on my childhood

• Discuss regional history that typically goes overshadowed in history retrospectives

• Tie said element to the larger series

• Foreshadow future episodes

• Be "fun" and "nostalgic"

In this episode, we dive into The Spice Girls and 90s British History. We even talk briefly about the black female music scene in London. WATCH THE 41-MINUTE VIDEO HERE.
