The Relaxed Island Ancestors 0.2 Mod

The Relaxed Island Ancestors 0.2 Mod is for all islanders (Sims with The Child Of The Island Traits)

It causes the island ancestors to reserve judgement giving the user-directed/player controlled Sim time to fulfill their island traditions according to their schedule rather than being immediately judged negatively from the time they enter into the world.

Your Sims still should follow the customs of the ancestors on occasion in order to procure their favor.

The ancestors like it when your child of the island Sims participate in island festivities, cook island recipes, listen to island music, comb the beach for seashells and trash, throw kava parties, discourage littering, and things of that nature.

When you know that your Sims have been keeping the traditions of the ancestors, then you can click on them and summon the ancestors to visit and make friends with them.

You can also ask them for judgment so that they will either bless or curse them for keeping or not keeping the traditions.

The more your Sims uphold the traditions, the higher their favor with the ancestors will be.

High friendship with the ancestors will allow you to ask them to move into your Sims households if you'd like.

✅ Ancestor puddle interaction

✅ Hidden disappointment/controller resources

This mod removes the punitive behavior of disappointed Island Ancestors while preserving the positive Island Living features.

Ancestors will no longer repeatedly harass Sims with "Connection Denied," spawn puddles, or push negative judgment autonomy simply because your Sims choose to enjoy Sulani in their own way.

Positive ancestor blessings and the rest of the Island Living gameplay remain intact.
