Our main character, Zach is a college student in his mid-20s. It has been six years since he left home, but he has finally decided to return after learning that his stepfather passed away.

Agnes is Zach’s best friend. Along with her brother, Robert, the three of them have been inseparable for the six years since Zach left home.

Rosie is Zach’s "sister," though they aren't related by blood. Her family took him in when he was younger, but they never officially adopted him. Rosie and Zach grew up together throughout most of their childhood, right up until the moment he ran away.

Angela is the younger sister of Rosie’s late mother. She is a successful businesswoman who runs multiple businesses. Despite her career ambitions, she is a deeply caring person who always looks out for others, especially her family.

Yola is the new feisty friend with a mysterious background.
