Chapter 4A - Now Available

Thank you for all your patience. Chapter 4A has been in the works for a long time, too long. However, it is also the largest update yet. For those who have played it already via the beta or early access, more content has been added to the update.

Regarding the new content, I have always been adamant that beta should be feature complete, and early access players will not be missing anything for getting into the game early. However, this time I had to break that rule. There were many factors that influenced my decision but it basically bogs down to time. This update has taken far too long and I felt I cannot keep it from being released for any longer. Had I delayed it to expand on one more scene, it was very possible we wouldn't have seen an update until 2026. I made up my mind that I will accept the update as is and release it. I felt it was story complete, and players would not be cheated out on the story. That a sex scene was not essential to the scene.

And so what about this added scene? Well, I didn't even make a decision to work on it until the beta was out for a few days. Even then, I made up my mind that should the scene not be ready by the 14th, I would not include it. If I were to do it, it has to good enough, it has to be justified from a story perspective, and it cannot be there just to have a sex scene.

Well, on the 12th I managed to finish it. I put in a lot of extra attention to the story and characterization to make sure this scene is as essential to the story as the rest of the game are. No rewriting was needed, I was able to extend the end of the original scene to transition into it.

For those who have already played Ch4A. I have to apologize for this late addition. You will have to replay the update in order to ensure your saves will reflect your choices correctly in future updates.

Thank you once again for supporting me in making this game. It is a rare fortune to be able to work on a passion project and find an audience for it. I think Ch4A is a marked improvement over the previous updates in all areas. Particularly the writing I believe have improved a lot.

Now that the update is fully completed, I will be resuming our regular monthly Patreon features starting next week. We will be doing our Best Girl poll as per tradition after an update.
