For the people with brake issue. You have to manually turn off ABS in the game assists for the brakes to work. Assetto corsa does that to a lot of cars. If the car doesn't have ABS then assetto makes the brakes not work with ABS turned ON in the car assists menu. You must turn it off for them to work. Hope this helps some people.
I understand there ARE brakes and NO ABS... 100% get it. BUT... The wheels lock up VERY easily... I'm on a Logitech G Pro and I mostly play with no abs/tc cars and this is the only car I played with that locks up, even under slower conditions. For example... in Nurb GP track, on the straight, its impossible to trail brake at the 400 mark.. I have to do it around the 550-600 mark or the back swings around under trail braking and everything locks up... in other corners, same thing. I really think you guys need to test this car in all track conditions and release an update. Otherwise, I am not a picky person... this is a free car and I am grateful to own it thanks because of you guys!
To those saying no brakes, there are brakes but there is a learning curve and adjustment to be made. No Abs means you need to actually learn to use a brake pedal (don't mean that rudely). Notice the fronts lock up fairly easily. I would suggest turning brake bias down from 68% to around 63%. Better balance below 63% rears start to lock up in bad places, which is more dangerous. Fronts also need to get some warmth in them too.
The car hardly brakes
There's something wrong with the brakes and it's not because of ABS, since I force ABS (I use a gamepad).
What is it then? Can you describe?
You could not get the odometer to work correctly ? It says "TOTAL" with no tracking odo. A little bit concerning that a mod can be made, but a cfg can't be configured properly. Otherwise a pretty good mod.
Fun car to drive, with good sound. Brakes are fine, you just have to be very careful to not lock-up! There is quite a lot of light bleed on the dash board lights, if that could be fixed in a future update. Also seems to be very little self-alignment on the steering rack, so feels a little unnatural at low speeds.
No brakes! I crashed into a wall and am now dead. LOL
