Surprise!
Hi!
I apologize for the lack of updates this month but two things happened (and I'm sure you'll be happy to know about the second one!) ;)
First: I had problems with my SSD... again! I almost lost the project I'm working on, but fortunately I already had a backup copy of said project! However, I lost other stuff and I had to spend more time doing emergency backups of what could be saved... I can't trust this SSD anymore.
The second thing...
I'm working on a new animation featuring Emma! And I'm talking about a 5 minutes long animation!
I didn't say anything for a while because I wanted to make sure that I could actually do this animation... It's a lot more complicated than the previous one, (and I'm also using the new renderer software!) so a lot of things are new to me here... Therefore, I wanted to make sure that I could actually finish this project before even telling you anything about it! (In order to avoid raising false hopes!)
But the base animation is finally done! I'm currently taking care of other details (like textures, scene illumination, render settings, optimizations for faster renders and trying a bunch of techniques to get the best renders possible with my current hardware)
I'll give you more updates very soon (with new images) I just need to tweak a few more things first.
Until then, here's a preview of what the animation will look like! ;)

Oh, yeah... I've also spent over 80 hours working on this animation since December 7! XD
It's been a very, VERY busy week.... But hopefully everyone will like the result! I'll post more screenshots tomorrow! ;)
Anyway, I hope you liked the screenshot/preview and I certainly hope that this project goes well! The rendering stage will take longer, but the most important part (the base animation) is already done! ;)

Sorry to hear about your SSD problems again. But I am glad things are looking good. Can't wait to see what you make!
Thank you! it really sucks that the SSD seemed to be fine for a while (I used the SSD on a laptop before, which is when these problems started to happen) I don't know for sure if it's the laptops fault or the adapter I used. But once I stopped using the SSD on my laptop, the problems when away... Recently I had to use the SSD on the laptop again (WITHOUT using the adapter this time, I just installed the SSD directly) and this happened again! It might be the laptop, or the SSD just doesn't like to be installed on diferent systems... :/
