The NSFW part in these often comes across (at least to me) as being as much for her as for him. She's not just convincing *him* that This Is Real, she's convincing *herself* of that. This was different. This wasn't an argument, either with him or with herself. This was an *invitation* into the future her brain has envisioned for them and a request for his approval of it. The most important part isn't that they did the sexy fun stuff, it's that in taking part in the scene, he implicitly accepted it. *All* of it: the apartment, the couch, the *life*.
