🚨PATREON CHANGES FOR APPLE USERS🚨
Heads up to any of you who use apple phones and have paid for patreon via said device.
An email blast came through today showing that patreon has changed how subscriptions work EXCLUSIVELY FOR APPLE PHONE USERS where they will cost an additional 30% per month and none of that money goes to creators, it is exclusively for apple.
If you pay for your membership via pc or an android phone, you won't have to deal with any extra charges.
Ideally this change won't affect many of you, but I wanted to put out a warning JUST in case.

So good new that I just read form Patreon is that the new pay increase won’t affect already existing memberships but will affect any new members who purchase one after November 2024, or at least that’s how I understood what I was reading https://microsite-news.pages.dev/articles/understanding-apple-requirements-for-patreon this is the news link that I read it form
I wonder if this will affect me cuz I use a iPhone but my payments are routed through PayPal so idk, guess I’m just going to have to keep an eye on it
Apple trying to get every last penny from people, that sucks.
