Development Update - 10th of October

Hey everyone!

Rather than give you a specific overview of what we got done this week, we'll give you a wider look at what to expect over the coming weeks and months.

The Next Chapter of Realm 4

We mentioned the significant delay with the animations. As we resolve this issue, the fixes and updates our art director has been applying should help speed up both still images and animations in the future. We haven't seen how much it helps yet, but if all goes according to plan, it's a great step in the right direction. I won't confirm a specific release window for this chapter right now, as last time I did, the tech issues prevented us from meeting it. Just know that we'll release chapters periodically until January!

Completed Realm 4

As we mentioned last week, our objective is to launch Realm 4 in January. We'll keep you posted on our progress. I held off on launching the Realm 4 Steam store page while we waited for the final translation, but I will put it live next week.

If all goes according to plan, Realm 5 should take nowhere near as long as the gap between Realm 3 & 4, and we still aim to launch the Completed Realm 5 at the end of 2027.

ACTC

Thanks to everyone who played and enjoyed the first two episodes of ACTC.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned launching the Android version and bringing it to other platforms, but some personal stuff came up and pulled me away from focusing on it.

There's no new game content yet, but I've made a few fixes, such as image "clipping" issues and typos that were reported to us, as well as a couple of other minor changes ahead of us porting it to Android.

We'll update the game on Patreon and Steam and will launch on Itch and OppaiMan with these fixes. However, please note there are no new episodes just yet. For now, our upcoming chapter releases will be focused on Realm 4. One of our artists will soon start enhancing the scenes for Episodes 3, 4 & 5 ahead of our art director finalising them, after he completes his work on Realm 4. So ACTC is still progressing; just the main release focus is on Realm 4 right now.

We received feedback from some players that Episodes 1 & 2 alone of ACTC felt shorter than they'd have liked. The next story update will take a little longer to complete, as we'll likely launch Episodes 3, 4 & 5 as one update rather than individual episodes. This would take us to the end of what we consider "Season 1". Since this will be a chunkier update, don't expect it for a little while. We will update you on our progress once Realm 4 nears completion. We also plan to add additional language support prior to/when we release the next three episodes :)
