A College of Thirst & Claws - Early Access Launch
We're excited to announce our plans to launch A College of Thirst & Claws in early access at the end of August. We will confirm a specific release date soon. The game will initially launch on Patreon and Steam.
The initial release will contain the first two episodes of the story. In terms of image numbers, these first two episodes will contain around 3,300 images in total. For comparison, this is a similar length to one Realm of The Seven Realms. There will be fewer sex scenes in these first two episodes compared to the number we have in The Seven Realms, but as we progress through the game, there will be many more added.
Initially, we planned to release individual seasons of ACTC, as we do with TSR; however, we’ve pivoted to making ACTC “one game” that we continue to update through the early access period until completion, rather than releasing it as separate seasons.
Alongside the first two episodes, the game will launch with other features you'd typically expect from a visual novel, such as choices with varying consequences, animated sex scenes with sounds, a scene-replay gallery, trophies, and a uniquely composed soundtrack. As we continue developing towards the “full release”, we plan to continually add new features with new episodes, in the hope of giving you a satisfying and complete experience once the game is fully complete.
At launch, the game will only be in English; however, as development progresses, we will add additional language support. The languages will likely mirror those supported by TSR.
Many of you likely first saw this game and maybe wishlisted it on Steam a while ago. Thanks for bearing with us while we got things back on track. We were a little too excited and announced the game a long time before it was ready. We learnt from announcing this too early, and we won’t make that mistake with our future projects.
We still have a lot to get done before we launch in August, so we’ll leave you with this for now. We will share a release date and other information about the game here over the next few weeks.

I dont know...i am getting allergic to AVNs with the word College in it - there are already a million AVNs out there with this setting and it gets really boring... There are a lot of Devs who go this way, examples are the Greys, Mister Maya etc. etc. But i will give you the Benefit of a Doubt and decide if i give it a chance after i have seen what you will give us with the first two Chapters, and that only because i consider Seven Realms one of the best AVNs out there... Just my 2 cent....

So. Does that mean that TSR R-4 is complete or near completion? And just for giggles.. You are still planning to add Realms 5, 6, and 7 to the series to complete it, eventually?
With our current projections, Realm 4 should be out on Steam before the end of the year, followed by 5, 6 & 7 within the next couple of years! But it's very much still in the works; don't worry, this game won't change that!
Awesome news! A single-release format would certainly be preferable for me if I were to pick it up on Steam - in a sense that I'd be getting the "full game" with one purchase. Ravager and Desert Stalker are two AVNs that come to mind that do the same for the Steam versions. Curious about how it'll work for Patreon supporters though. Would it follow TSR's structure where higher tier supporters will get new versions sooner? Would new version releases be distributed the same way where we'd re-download the entire game each version?
Exactly how we release new updates on Patreon is still to be determined. It will likely follow the same structure, where the whole game needs to be downloaded each time, at least for now. Regarding tier differences, we will confirm that a little nearer the time, once we have worked out the specifics :)

I've heard this is a more serious take on monster college, is it true? If so then I can't wait, will there be dark romance, sexual humiliation, groping, BDSM etc?
We've not played Monster College, so we won't be able to make any comparisons to that game. Regarding your second question, there won't be any "extreme kinks" in this game, no. It's more lighthearted than that.

It's been in the background for a while. We put it on pause for a long time while we focused solely on TSR, but we've reached a point now where we should be able to comfortably work on both simultaneously :)
