Development Update - 6th of June

Hey everyone,

The upcoming release will contain around 530 images, five NSFW animations, and five SFW animations.

TL;DR: overall Realm 4 progress is coming along nicely - we currently have some animation rendering issues, which might mean we release slightly later than we wanted.

The images are all complete. For the animations, we've had some rendering issues, where they're taking a painfully long time to render. We've been troubleshooting this over the last week and have managed to speed them up, but we're currently just waiting for the animations to render. We'll then need to colour-grade them and add sound.

We were hoping to launch the update this upcoming week, but by the time the animations are done, and we've given our sound designer time to add sound, the week after looks more realistic at the moment. Overall, it shouldn't be too much longer!

Despite these animation delays, we're throwing everything we've got into the upcoming updates, so the next few releases are already well underway in terms of finalising the images. Right now, the main source of delays for us is the slow animations. We're trying to prioritise certain tasks moving forward to ensure we can render the animations earlier, so we don't end up waiting on them before release. We will see how that goes over the coming weeks!
