This update was written by Bobo the Hobo! It's their first time doing a story for me and I think they did a great job!
This update is focused on a new character - Beret!
This story is based in realism/sci-fi.
There are over 800 new sprites/background/renders in this update.
There are 4 different endings this time.
There's a choice towards the end after speaking with "The Informant" that will go down 2 separate paths, but both of those paths have their own 2 endings depending on earlier choices made.
Please let me know if you run into any bugs and I will work to have them corrected if they are for the current storyline. If you run into ones from a previous storyline, I will fix it for the next update.

This is great.I'm still trying to figure out this how to get the other two endings , but I love bridget in this , that's how I could tell bobo wrote this. I like all the creative choices like alicia's role.
also, great update, loved the evolution of the side characters, especially Alicia. Surprised a story like that hasnt been done. With like a major personality switch or like where the main character marries someone and they just think they can then relax and consequently blow up and get more slobby

Great update, one of the better stories
I had so much fun playing this! I mean, I'm a little biased, but I thought that everything came together great! It was really fun to get to play around in the D.I.E.T. sandbox, and I'd be very open to returning down the line. I hope that Beret makes for a fun addition to the cast (and Lucy too!), and that everyone had at least half as much fun playing this version as I did. Can't wait to see what's next!
I just got a chance to see this update, and I loved the script you put together! Everything did come together great. One of the few updates that I did not look at the script beforehand and it was such a joy experiencing all the twists and turns blind haha. Great job! Bravo
Update was amazing, as per. Really loving the look of the characters at massive weights (especially a certain blonde 😅).
SPOILERS FOR THE UPDATE Really fun update! Beret was a great addition to the cast, a very fun personality with some cute quirks to herself, like her snorting when laughing. The plot was interesting as well; I love a good fattening conspiracy, and it gave a good excuse to use the pretty huge D.I.E.T. cast. With that said, I can't lie; I kind of hoped we would see an ending where we can let the company continue their fattening scheme...or even have a route/ending where MC falls victim to it (yeah, again wishing for a mutual gain route haha, I'm sorry; I just think it would really work in this story!!) With all that said, I still loved playing through this one and hope Bobo comes back for some other stories.
love that the android crowd is loving it lolol small thing that doesnt affect anytting but the file name that comes out of the v0.42.0 zip for mac is versioned as 0.41.0; it is actually the new version of the game though
