Okay so - I'm going to level set with everyone. I'm going to TRY to have this done Sunday night... but I don't think that's going to be reasonable. Polarisdreamer is incredible and went all out with this story (and it is probably the longest story D.I.E.T. has ever had). The script totals 28,000 words this time. 6,000 of it is just the endings (which is what I have left). Most of the scripts we do usually range 12,000-16,000 words. So the endings alone are about as long as half a story can be. That's why I'm not sure I'll be able to get it all done in the next four days (but I'll try).
It would be nice to get it done by then (because then I'd be only about a week behind my normal release schedule), but no promises. With that said, the script for the story after this one is already about 95% complete, so immediately following this update I'll be able to begin work on the next one (which should get things completely caught up).
Rest assured, the update is coming soon!
Respectfully,
CoastalBunny

Take your time. This one will definitely be worth it. Aim to release next week
I'll update sometime this weekend if I think I can get it done this weekend or not, but I won't be overly stressed if I can't. Still gonna try for it though 🙂
Have you considered imposing a word limit on the story contributions? Longer and more complex may be better in some cases but there's a trade-off in terms of your workload.
Not necessarily - usually 20k is the cap I'll do with a normal 2 month development cycle. But this story had a lot of parts that needed to be included to make it work so I'm okay with it being longer, but the turnaround time on this one was faster as well which has been a challenge
We have faith in you . Do you take story suggestions , or is there a formal procedure to submit a synopsis...
Always happy to take suggestions down (we have a shared folder where we keep them at and occasionally pull from). Feel free to send me a direct message
