Poll | Press pause...?
I know many folks listen to our commentary tracks while they're having dinner, cleaning their place, soaking in a hot tub, etc. I'm wondering if you prepare your food and/or warm up your hot tub before you even begin a new track, or if you wait until I say "press pause" and then take as long as you need before pressing play again. This randomly popped into my head and now I'm so curious!
(Also this really only applies to folks that sync the tracks up with what we're watching, if you listen to the tracks on their own like a podcast then I imagine this wouldn't matter.)

Feel like I can't really do much but wait for the part where you say, "in order to sync up this" if it were a podcast then sure, but with a specific time to start a film or show gives me so much anxiety, I gotta get that part done so I can then relax.
And as a side not I miss your guys old podcast use to watch it every Friday I believe or whenever it came out, bring it back.
If it's a movie track I assume the intro will be longer than for an episode of a series, so I start it and listen while prepping my snacks and then pause if necessary, but I often try to "beat the clock" and sit down just in time!
It’s a running start for me. I usually can guess around where you’ll sync so set it up like that and then just hit play in the movie. If it isn’t synced right then I fast forward or rewind until I’m synced but only the movie. Musicals are my fav because you usually sing and will say like oh that was early or late or you won’t say anything which means I’m right on lol
I usually pause the first logo, play the track and get a snack and then if it's a "we synch at something unexpected" i pause and play but often like GenV it's the first logo so it works and i just play when u say pause and seems to be in time
I actually don't press pause at all I have the movie queue'd up paused for the point where the sync starts and then press play as soon as you say press pause which caused me a lot of confusion at first on how to sync because you kept saying press pause but I was pressing play.
How can this be true when it's a different point to press pause/play for each film, you guess when and are right always hahaha?
Always sync up right away when I’m at home but I’ve been listening to you at work and makes it fly by
Every single track I listen to, I basically just guess what logo to pause the movie/show at, then let you do your intro, pour a glass of ice-cold milk, grab some timtams, pop a squat and by that time you're almost done with your intro. so then I hit play and it's time to get buck wild baby. I'm doing all of this RIGHT NOW. thanks for the killer entertainment buddy!
little bit of both, sometimes ill press pause make a cocktail or grab a sack sometimes iv already done and ready to go

I’ll often just watch the beginning part when the track first drops, usually because I can’t sit down and watch the full thing. But when I do watch a track, I just get straight into it.

I like to guess where you're "press play" moment is and pause the movie, then when you say press pause, I just play the movie!
how often are you correct??
I reverse sync! I press play on the movie as soon as you say press pause!
I have done both but I am usually ready to sync up right away
I do whatever I need before starting at all, I get the movie/show ready where I assume you'll say to press play, then I listen to your intro and press play on that after you finish saying "but for now, press pause". Unless you give a different start point. I never pause your video once I start the intro
