If its a scary movie, I just listen to the track. Otherwise I'm like the Titanic.

i used to combine the two videos with editing software, but i havent been able to do that since you stopped uploading your tracks to youtube

i’ve asked patreon for a download option for the videos! 🤞🏼

I usually just have two windows open on my computer!

One option you missed could be someone who watches the movie on their phone with one earbud while listening to you guys right outside your window as you are recording the commentary.

i use my tv for the movie/show and my phone for the track, but sometimes i just do PiP on my laptop

I use my headset connected to my tv with one pod in and then my airpod in the other ear with the track on my phone - it’s a bit disorienting to have audio from each respective media in either ear but it’s what works best for me.

I have my phone with one headphone playing the track and the tv playing the movie, that’s how I’ve always done it 🤷‍♀️

Usually i do PiP but as a treat sometimes I’ll synch my phone or laptop commentary to the show/movie on a tv screen!

My preferred syncing method isn't among the list tho. It's: with great pajn and suffering because my wifi is shit

i usually have the Watch us Watch open in one window and the movie playing in another window, and i just split screen them so they’re side by side. in all honesty though, i mostly listen to the tracks like podcasts while i’m doing work/other stuff. it’s just calming, and re-listening to my favorite tracks is kinda therapeutic. there are some that i’ve listened to probably 50+ times. (that probably sounds insane because it is)

No I love the Harry Potter tracks and the twilight tracks and I’ll do a watch nostalgically, but not without the movie playing too, I can’t do just the tracks alone, that drives me crazy 😂

PIP on 1 laptop is easiest and usually best audio-wise, but my old ass laptop dies really quick so eventually it’s the phone/ipad kid combo more often than not.

I just have it all playing simultaenously on one laptop---I lliterally didn't know PIP existed but thats definitely going to be my new method.

I respect whoever does it through an editing software.

Jack Guidera · November 28, 2022

I’ve only done that when I want to have the track ready-to-watch when I’m offline, like if I’m getting on a plane.

I sync the track on my laptop at the start and scramble to resync it at the right moment when the video inevitably lags or my Chrome window crashes lol

Needs to be an option for “I watch one on laptop / one on phone and then when I’m tired, I pause the move and just fall asleep to the rest of the commentary

honorable mention to my tablet that i’ll sync with my phone when i’m in the kitchen baking 🥲
