Watch Us Watch | Passenger

Talk about full circle! In your commentary track for the first Scream, you introduce your "new van Ruth" and talk about how someone should make a van life horror movie. Fast forward to now, and you're making Ghostface references during a van life horror movie! (P.S. - love the Pecan Lodge, Dallas, and Fort Worth shoutouts in this one!)

This was way better than I expected it would be based on reviews! Do agree that they showed the ghoul a bit too much but that face will haunt me the same way that Mary Shaws face haunts me

Went ahead and watched the Autopsy of Jane Doe off the recommendation in this video and ho-ly FUCK that movie is incredible!! Fucking terrifying, definitely shouldn’t have watched it at night alone😅😅

I think it would’ve worked better if the three scratches on the van had been done by some of the nomads at the van meetup. That would work better with the idea of the nomad code. Also in some traditions, St. Christopher is depicted as being extremely tall and having a dog’s head, should’ve done something with that

currently paused 20 mins in to take a breather and feel safe 😭 cannot BELIEVE you watched this in the dark IN your van, eric!!! you are stronger than i

Theres an Episode of Supernatural (s1 ep13 "Route 666") that has the same exact ending haha.

Idk man, I watched this in my living room in broad daylight with my roommate loudly practicing opera in the other room, and I wasn't scared at all

Always enjoy the solo tracks and even though I see the trailer and saw the first jumpscare, I still had the same reaction you had!

I'm always down for a movie where we're both screeching at the same time. That one shot in the parking lot was wicked cool

“I’ve been in Ruth for 5 years now” unfortunately I chuckled

that was pretty good (btw now every time i say something is pretty good i hear the raspy chipmunk duffer #1 voice going "thats pretty good! oh i guess i should be quiet if we're recording" so thanks for the inevitable vocal stim i guess 💀)

I thought this movie was kinda underrated or... over-hated. I went in with low expectations but the van life stuff was a total surprise and had me pretty locked in and thinking of you lol. and yeah, it didn't really stick the landing but I thought that projector scene was fucking phenomenal and the parking lot scene was really dope!!

Unrelated but hair/beard/brows are on point these days

I think the reviews were low mainly because the trailer for the movie only showed the first jumpscare which got people's expectations super high and also the fact it came out like a week after obsession

Congrats on the toilet, Eric! Also, imagine that instead of filming the background creeping during the track to edit into the highlight video, you filmed it after the track and edited it somewhere into the watch us watch. The odds that someone would be watching the video rather than the movie right at those few seconds are pretty low, so theoretically it could take months or years before someone would notice it.

Wait that was actually so good! I can’t believe people didn’t like it. It has a 2.3 on Letterboxd. I feel like that was awesome!

There were a lot of great ideas in this! Some of it was giving Pay the Ghost though…

Apparently It Ends is another van life horror movie.

Okay but for real, what the FUCK is slinking around behind you at 19:46?????

i’ve seen this movie already. that first jumpscare is so good it got me again even though i knew it was coming

As soon as I saw this in theatres, I knew it was destined for a solo Eric van track!

I watched this with my husband a few weeks ago and legit told him, "i really hope Eric sees this or does a track for this since he lives in a van." I cannot wait to watch it again with this track and to see what you think of it!

thought this was the chris pratt joint again and got REALLY scared
