Is magic real? That is the question Outer Banks is going to have to answer in its fifth & final season. Jillian & I are still mourning the loss of one of our favorite characters while also coming to terms with the actual behind-the-scenes reasons that he was killed off. Will a magical blue (brown) crown bring him back to life? Or is this show that we once loved officially dying a slow death?

Hey I saw the JJ actor in that movie this year with tyriq withers and maika Monroe but he plays the boyfriend that dies in the first five and then tyriq withers takes his spot ! also being online and in fandoms spaces during earlier seasons especially ssn 2 - 4 obx had ppl acting rlly crazy about Kiara and JJ (madison & Rudy) which very much affected their relationship and lead to their respective partners speaking about the shipping MULTIPLE times and it all just went to shit lol
I鈥檓 all for shipping characters , making my Barbie鈥檚 kiss and whatev but it got weird with them to the point where (I think ) Jj鈥檚 irl girlfriend was always on set and ppl just ran with their assumptions

from the limited knowledge I know about the whole jj and kiara feud is that he left on his own (asked to be killed off idk?) because his girlfriend didn't like kiara's actress because the jj/kiara actors used to be close in previous seasons...and I think the rest of the cast chose kiara's actress's side since he made it a big deal on set about not being close to her...like they used a double for jj during a bonfire scene where jj/kiara were cuddling bc they didn't want to be close?? (again mostly rumors could be bullshit!) anyways if there are any actual experts on the case please correct me!
from my understanding, they were close during season one and people were constantly shipping them and it made them uncomfortable because they both had girlfriends and even though they told the fans that it made them uncomfortable, they didn鈥檛 stop. and then the jj actor鈥檚 girlfriend had beef with kie and that made him have beef with her too. then, in season 4, he wanted to leave because the girlfriend pressured him to.
