Y'all are successfully describing all the wrong things with clubbing in your early twenties, I'm 21 right now and clubbing is like the worst thing imaginable because I always risk sleeping with someone who absolutely hates me (I have the same philosophy regarding hookups as Eric does right now). Talking to someone at a bar and then hooking up is always going to be the superior way of doing things in comparison to a club-hookups lol
