New | Is the 1990 IT better than the newer ones?

As we wrap up part 2 of the 1990 IT miniseries, we have to ask ourselves... which version is better? Certainly the effects are improved in Andy Muschietti's take, but is that it? And even though they're better, the effects in the 1990 version feel more charming and somehow scarier. You'll have to watch along with me & Kevin and then let us know!

Also I visited a cool Universal Studios exhibit in Philly, check it out in the video above!

Yes it is. Better as in more enjoyable, I'm having more fun with the 1990 series than the 2017 reboot

Got low expectations for the 2nd half of this as i thought the first half was pretty boring and Tim Curry's pennywise ain't scary at all i just see him as a regular clown

Yes. It is only worth watching or reading for the clown. Bill Skarsgard's pennywise is not scary to anyone past the age of 12 years old. Tim Curry's pennywise has stood the test of time because he's actually genuinely creepy. Like remove the makeup and you just have a creepy man. With the makeup he becomes terrifying.

For me personally I've never once found Tim's version of Pennywise to be creepy/scary 馃槵
