I’m glad you liked the new one, but mannn… “too busy” is exactly where my grievances lay with it.

Did you think the new one was the best one? Or was it too much too soon?

P

One time I watched the Burton Batman trying to imagine the mindset of someone who went in totally blind, not even knowing Bruce is Batman. And the best I figured is that you’d figure it out just because there wouldn’t seem to be any other reason that Bruce is even a character, even though it’s not fully “confirmed” until he tries to tell Vicky but can’t get the sound out.

I watched this movie for the first time literally 24 hours before Christopher Reeve died. That was a weird feeling. You can really feel a struggle of tone in it, coming from a time when the Adam West Batman show was the one major superhero thing that non-comic reading normies were familiar with, and trying to do something more serious, but also being a bit timid about leaving that approach behind entirely so we get the villains played completely for comedy despite the massive threat they pose to millions of lives. But somehow it all hangs together just enough to work and deserve its reputation.

You gonna watch Man Of Steel? I find it to be extremely underrated

P

I saw man of steel! I mentioned in this video it didn’t feel like the new one was going that direction so it didn’t count haha

Common mistake, but it is in fact Christopher Reeve. Doesn't help that George Reeves played Superman in the TV show in the 50s.
