New | Minority Report

omg i finally found the exposition clip for that show that i was thinking of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zr17FZ0bJQw

ok im watching minority report with my friend and they mentioned a joke from your track where they get rid of the homicides if the victim isnt white and i NEEDED to tell you---that's basically the premise of the show Person of Interest. its from the era of network tv so there are possibly too many episodes and the acting is questionable at times (a lot of the time), but the idea is that the government had an AI machine built that uses surveillance data from EVERYTHING to predict/prevent terrorist attacks. microphones in your phone, cctv footage, social media posts, bank records, whatever. if its accessible by a computer in some way, the machine can access it. the government told the guy to make the machine categorize non national security threats as "irrelevant" and reset itself every day. he secretly programmed it to send him the ones marked as irrelevant, and he recruits the nutjob that played jesus in the passion of the christ to be a batman ripoff and help him prevent the crimes. its made by jonathan nolan. wouldnt be surprised if it was inspired by minority report tbh. again, probably way too many eps. the guy that played AARON BURR is in one season too
