News about the game's development
Hello everyone.
I apologize in advance, but today will be about personal problems again.
As you know, I have to combine a real day job and game development. In fact, game development is very interesting in itself, and I would love to keep doing it.
However, at the same time, it is also an extremely time-consuming and labor-intensive process. In fact, I have to work 10-12 hours a day, practically without weekends.
And now I feel quite specifically that I am burned out. I need a long break.
And although I haven't taken money from subscribers since March 2023, I don't want to deceive people with vain expectations, so I'm pausing work on the game, indefinitely for now.
The Patreon account will be removed from public access after a short time. I don't know if I'll ever get back into development, but if I do, I'll restore the account.
I don't plan to shut down the Discord server yet.
For all those who subscribed recently, Patreon has taken a one-time charge. Of course, I will do a refund for the last 90 days (I already did, the funds will be returned to you within 5-7 business days), so hopefully that will lessen your disappointment.

Would you consider letting another creator taking over? I am learning the ropes not sure if this is something that is possible. You have a great story and would love to see it finished.

I know you likely agonized on this choice. Know that my frustration joins yours. However, there is no point in killing yourself to tell your story. This has long been a favorite of mine. I was hoping you would at least get to a better point in the story before putting the pin in it I knew was coming. Oh well. I guess we will not find out how our Hero escaped Skull, and returned to his family, preferably with our friends long missing sister. Good luck to you, may time and inspiration meet you again. It was a fun and creative ride.

Unfortunate but health and motivation comes first so take what time you need, although I hope you keep us posted on if you do plan to continue or not once you've taken the time to assess. Thanks again for all your hard work up to this point though 🙏
