Awesome shoot today with Kate Star, another FPI and more news!

Good evening from Leicestershire!
It’s been a long and productive day and I have lots of news to share.
This morning I woke up to another one of those nice emails from Purpleport informing me that one of my images has been added to their illustrious Front Page collection.
It’s an image with Kayleigh Dunning (whom I prefer to refer to as Kayleigh Stunning), shot last December in my hotel room in Blackpool.
This is now my 109th FPI (Front Page Image) on Purpleport but my very first with Kayleigh.
It felt like a reward for a very productive week in which, in addition to Tuesday’s shoot with Aphrodita, I also processed loads of content from last week’s European tour and added quite a bit of that to my online store, creating several new collections - check them out by clicking on the button below.
Shoot with Kate Star
There was, however, no time to rest on my laurels!
I had to get ready to host British model Kate Star, who was shooting in my home studio with another photographer, and prepare to shoot with her myself.
I shot with Kate in the afternoon and we created about 700 new photos, three behind the scenes videos and seven shorter 4K video clips.
Kate doesn’t shoot topless or nude levels so it’s one of those rare occasions that I can actually show all of the favourited thumbnails to all my 700+ members (currently 722 to be precise).
We started with a sexy sheer lingerie set from Naked Underwear and continued with two micro bikinis from Tangaland24.
Unfortunately one of my two Elinchrom studio units malfunctioned - again - so I could only use one of them. I had to make some adjustments in the lighting to prevent harsh shadows but it was frustrating to say the least. Basically I three the light on the ceiling in order to diffuse it better than what one soft box can achieve. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t ideal either. I have already informed the store I bought it from and they will hopefully provide a replacement whilst the malfunctioning one is being repaired or replaced. Fortunately it is still under warranty.
We continued with a girl next door set by the back door, after which we shot a sexy Dr Harness set which Kate loved (it’s in fact the one Kayleigh is wearing in today’s FPI). I varied the lighting with that set, using the Elinchrom and bouncing the flash on the ceiling for part of that set and then reverted to natural light, shooting black and white for effect.
We finished with a black body, also shot in b&w with natural light, for effect. The screenshots with thumbnails will hopefully give you a flavour of today’s shoot.
I thoroughly enjoyed this shoot and I am already planning another studio day with Kate in the late spring.
