We Met Our Main Goal! Also a New ARK Server
Ever since I first created this Patreon account, the main goal was to grow enough where I can rely on this source of revenue to pay for our house rent instead of relying on YouTube revenue - It was a high goal and it's been a long journey, but we've finally made it!
While I focus (and succeed!) to maintain fun and passion in what we do, there's always that financial reality that can not go ignored; you are all what is keeping the dream and community alive - and for that I can not thank you enough. The result? Instead of trying to maintain YouTube deadlines and schedules, I can prioritise being fun and real! I can also set aside some time to put serious thought and focus towards long-term career goals. I am so grateful to be given this opportunity <3
On that note, I have been wanting to create some milestones for goals so that we may all benefit and grow together. While it's important to grow the individual pledge rewards further, it also takes a whole community of us to keep things going and it only makes sense to give more to everyone!
Thus the first of those milestones shall be as part of the Housing Rent goal; All Patreons of Pterradraco rank and above may request access/downloads of up to 5 Spore creations per month. Restrictions may apply; I've made a tonne of creations over the last decade and not all .png's are accessible or compatible, but if I can share them, then I will! OC's made specifically for Patreons will remain private.
It may seem like a small reward, but it's a start! And thus we move onto our next goal; art raffles! The revenue for this goal will specifically be prioritised towards a stable ZBrush membership. The way the art raffles will function is still to be determined, but my goal is something sweet and simple, and preferably for all Patreons and supporters!
Speaking of art, I have had a certain secret proposal in mind for a while now, but it would take a lot to fulfil. Therefore I'm setting the bar for this one quite high, to give me time to... let's say plan and practice ;) For now, we'll codename it "Tribute Sculpts". This one shall be much more exclusive, but something personal I'd like to deliver, when I am able to.
More goals shall be introduced in the future, but this is what's on the table now! I really do hope this shall be an exciting way to grow our community and to give something back to you all. These goals will indeed stretch over to YouTube Memberships and Twitch Subscribers! However Patreon shall be the heart of it all.
In other news, we have a new ARK: Survival Evolved server! Since Genesis has officially been delayed until February 25th, I shall be hosting a brand new subserver with a focus on creative buildings and higher harvesting rates. You can still progress with a survival mindset of course! But with the option of bigger and grander bases.
Speaking of ARK, I want to adjust the dino admin colour perk. Previously it was 1 colour for Pterradraco, 2 colours for Sun Wyverns and 4 for Red Dragons - Now Pterradraco's can request up to two admin-coloured dinos, and everyone at Syn Wyvern and above can request up to 5 admin-coloured dinos per season/cluster!
