What YOU Have Done For Me
I’m always saying how your support helps and especially as of recently, how much more supportive and giving people have been. I don’t feel comfortable sharing total earnings, but I thought it would just be cool to share some of the things made possible thanks to all of you.
Consider this like a “Before and After” sort of thing
■ Not be broke at the end of each month
■ Comfortably and reliably pay for the bills and food shopping, more fresh food, more cooked meals. Paying off larger standing bills. No debt, yay!
■ Comfortably paying roughly £100 a month in various Nitrado servers.
■ Yeti Microphone – A huge upgrade from my old gaming headset
■ Stream deck – Huge convenience (and some fun) for livestreaming
■ Xbox One AND games – This one still amazes me. An entire friggin gaming console, wow
■ Various computer peripherals – Better CPU, more hard drives and storage space for mass recording, upgrades for my secondary PC to improve rendering and livestreaming quality. Overall just more performance and quality of life.
■ Various software or subscriptions such as Synergy (for accessing my computers) and DeepBot (JowwiBot on Twitch).
■ Stronger desk stands for my microphone and monitors – We have a small desk and half of my set up is supported by boxes or floating, so finally getting the stronger stands has been a big deal xD
■ Various games for either content purposes, or just for me to enjoy, such as Monster Hunter: World, Okami, Getting Over It, Jurassic World Evolution, No Man’s Sky, Subnautica and more.
■ I have been able to treat some of YOU to games for a change.
■ Finally got some toys and bedding for the cats <3
■ Finally fixed our own bed – Mattresses cost a fortune, but we got a thick bed topper which fixes most of the issues, along with new sheets and pillows.
■ New outdoor coat, shoes, dressing gown – and various clothing.
■ Christmas 2017, I could finally afford to buy my entire family presents for the first time. Christmas 2018, I could finally do it without going completely broke afterwards.
■ Kev’s Birthday 2018 and 2019 (yes already pre-planned) I could finally buy him big presents for a change :blush: He always somehow manages to spoil me, now I can finally do it back.
■ 2019 Able to pay my part and afford going on vacation with my family for the first time ever, and first vacation with my family in at least 6 years.
■ Treated myself with a special present – Custom Lego Jowwi – Plus a new webcam setup to share it.
There’s definitely more to add but the point is, just thank you. I don’t share a lot about my private life, especially things like bills as I don’t want it to send the wrong message. But all the added support over the course of the last year has made huge impacts, and I am simply very grateful.
To put it into perspective, usually my YouTube earnings are just enough to pay off my share of the bills - and as we all know, YouTube earnings fluctuate like mad, so some months were comfy, some were scary. So all this stability is serious peace at mind.
