Hi! Lotty's Adventure 0.5b is out! I didn't want all that crunch time to go to waste on the game crashing randomly for people so I'm making this post to bump it! Go check it out!
Unless there's another common crash, i'm going to take it easy for a bit. The dev log will be postponed until I have something to talk about since the timing is awkward.
The reception to the direction Lotty's Adventure took this update has been cool! Regardless, I will clarify that horny/silly things are still on the menu, and the current direction isn't just a straight trajectory into serious stuff. (bosses that fuck you mid-fight are still going to be made, for example)
I'll make 0.501 a free update whenever that's out, but it's not likely I'll do any more free updates since all my cards for this game are finally on the table and people can get a good idea of what it is from a demo

I just finished the fight against the new boss—absolutely peak.
so, i've spent a lot of time GAMING on 0.501, here's a proper review for ya!~ THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! ready? lets go! i love the challenge seed having a recurring role, I figured it would, but seeing it do more than just change a door's color is fantastic! I love the new boss, it's very eldritch! i got to experiment wiht a few weapon combos during the fight, and i was very spooked at it's end! i'm excited to see where the story is going to go! I was lucky, I didn't run into any bugs, though i know people who have (the ice oni crash) the fishing area is funny and cute, it's not the mini game i THOUGHT it was gonna be, but it's a welcome addition! I would like to know if there's a way to donate more fish-art to it, because i'd love to contribute! the mermaid minigame is wonderfully animated and easy to understand, my only curiosity with it is i'm not sure if there is a timer i'm supposed to meet or what, on account of, my effort only gets the climax scene every time. After my first mermaid encounter, i got the surf spell, which is now one of my favorite spells in the game!~ Having the ability ot buy potions is a massive, massive upgrade! I'm super excited to see where else it goes, especially this means we now have the opportunity to go form 3 in front of jingles, and to me, that feels like FORESHADOWING!~ not that she comments on it yet, but yeah!~ you have no idea how big a crush i got on jingles and river!~ and now that there's a THIRD dick-haver in the game, I'm even more thrilled at the idea of them going at it with paige! I will say, during the spooky NPC fight with the axe person, I couldn't help but notice that sometimes their attack would still hit me during the chain-move in spite of successful parries. (I was using knives, dex build) I did manage to beat them without "not a gamer" or easy mode, and it was such an adrenaline rush! I will note that during the axe-chain attack-spam, sometimes it stunlocked lotty and made it real hard to escape or retaliate, making hte buttons feel unresponsive. I don't know if that's intentional or not, regardless, it was such a hard fight, and was worth the effort in my opinion! ------ I'd love to know what "on paper" plans you have for the game in the future! as a loyal fan of all your games, i am eager to see more interactions with jingles, more areas to explore (besides hte swamp and forest) and perhaps some new basic enemies if it suits your fancy! In addendum, I was wondering, do the elf boys outside of Spira's shrine ever occasionally step into the shrine to mate with her? I imagine not, on account of her dialogue, but it's another interaction i'd love to see!

amazing update! i managed to beat the boss after some seriously hard work (totally worth it) i'm curious, is the mermaid counted in the "3 h-scenes" thing you brought up? or is their survival minigame seperate, and there's a third scene for us to hunt?
thank you, i'm glad ya liked it! 1 h-scene is during the mermaid mini-game, and 2 are with the new npc (both h-scenes are attainable inside his house)
Awesome update 0.5b! 🔥 The fight with the new boss was super fun, I had a blast. Looking forward to the next one (especially if 0.501 drops). I just would have loved to see more scenes of Jingles with other characters… it’d also be great to see a scene of Jingles with the sirens, or more Jingles content with Spira or River, and some of the new animations I was expecting. But overall it’s amazing! Keep it up ❤️
