JULY DEV LOG #2
Hi! There isn't anything to show in this dev log as I'd prefer not to spoil much more about Lotty's Adventure 0.5.
However, I can at least promise one thing: Lotty's Adventure 0.5 will absolutely be finished some time in August. I don't have an exact date yet, but that'll be clearer by the next dev log.
I apologize for this being the longest update window to date, with the second (I think) being around 2+ months with that LA H-scene overhaul a while back. It won't be happening again for a while as 0.5 was planned to be a pretty big deal, with updates normalizing until probably 1.0.
(the small rogue princess update doesn't count as an update window reset to me)
There were some teasers I didn't exactly want to share, but I needed to maintain faith that development is still going fine lol. I much prefer letting my games show you stuff, so rationing out dev log teasers in an early access environment like this is tricky...
In case some folks are curious, Starlight District and Mirage Complex have not been touched since I teased them. This may change if there's a fair amount of desire for those games, but I'm balancing what I feel most subscribers currently want with my own comforts. That being keeping LA and RP in priority rotation.
Let me know how you feel about that if applicable, especially if you're the type who'd prefer if something like LA 0.5 was delayed slightly in favor of maintaining normal sized updates for other games! I just don't know for sure if people are fine with waiting without content for this long.
Lastly, I haven't found a dedicated artist yet and haven't been able to give my programmer much work recently. Car problems and other issues keep eating up my funds, but I'm excited about the near future with this stuff.

just a little fan letter! ever since i came across lotty's adventure, I have been scouring the entire internet to try and find games like it, and in spite of my hard work, I have failed to find a game comparable to lotty's adventure! Hyper ass, Cheating (without ugly bastards), Excellent gameplay mechanics, fun dialogue and good characters, I could go on and on! I have been waiting for 0.5 to drop ever since it was announced, I am not pressuring you, I want you to feel excited that your work is so beloved! I have been sitting here for most of the day staring at the patreon while bopping out to music and etc, just refreshing every now and then for the much anticipated release! You have a truly dedicated fan! With a bit of luck and speed, I hope I'm the first person to be able to enjoy this wonderful game!

Don't worry about this comment, i'm just putting this here out of boredom, please don't let this influence/affect your work if you don't want it to, there is no intention of pressure here! In addendum, please don't feel bad if you end up needing longer than august 25th to finish LA 0.5! A delayed game is eventually good, a rushed game is forever bad, we are not rushing you <3 anyhoo! So, i been had a dream about lotty's adventure, and i ended up thinking a lot about jingles and possible "inferior lotty" interactions you could have with the gal, one variation being mean, and the other being weirdly sweet! For the sweet-angle, where she and lotty talk for a little bit and end up leaning into the dynamic of 'Jingles is just better in every way', leading to jingles putting on more of a show for lotty, prompted by a brief sprite of her head looking at lotty and an explanation mark before doubling her speed/roughness (which imo can be easily added with some more screen-shake and etc) Potentially with her winking at Lotty after she blows her load! On top of this, I like the idea of a dedicated button-thing that engages a cutscene where lotty tries to measure herself against whoever's domming (incase there's more characters to voyeur aside from jingles) so, Lotty x jingles solo -> jingles sweetly mocking lotty and making the poor gal melt as she tells her all about how much bigger jingles is, and how small lotty is in comparison (or how useless lotty is in bed) Lotty x jingles + river -> River being mean as usual as she tells lotty how much better jingles is, followed by a blowjob Lotty x jingles + spira -> Lotty gets grabbed by vines and forced to watch as spira twerks on jingles's lap, specifically with dialogue remarking how "I don't do this for anyone else! jingles is special!~ I'd never do it for you, lotty!" I especially love the idea of being able to catch jingles as she's leaving/entering the various animation-zones, with levels of dialogue going all the way from "where are you going?" "N-NOWHERE-" to "I'm going to dump some gallons into Spira~ I just finished with that slug, so I need someone to lick it clean~" I'd honestly love it if jingles called lotty a cuck, though in the sweeter-route, I think it'd be cute if lotty was all melty and blushy about it! I like to imagine the dynamic of jingles being sweeter/meaner can be changed on the fly either in the options menu, or by diagetically asking jingles to be meaner/sweeter via a dialogue box. ---- In the meaner route, if you talk to jingles after she's freshly finished up with another person, she brags fairly harshly about her session!~ if you get too close to jingles during one of her sex animations, she (and/or the person she's fucking) attacks lotty to try and keep them away from the action. And also, if you are in the middle of trying to fuck one of the others (spira/river) and jingles's "time" is hit, she'll walk into the room, and tear you off of the other person just to take your place!~ ---- I had some other ideas as well, such as jingles switching partners from whoever she's in the middle of breeding, to fucking lotty instead, so long as she's in form 3! As well as a scene lightly inspired by the catboys of Rogue Princess where if you try to talk to jingles in form 2, jingles becomes an "enemy" that tries to pounce lotty, but can be subdued. So you can either let jingles do whatever she wants or A. reverse it on her, so now you're hte one aggressively riding her or B. Subdue her entirely and make her bear form 2 or 3 instead, so that you can have your fun! A cute back-and-forth! Please don't take this as me demanding that you put this in, as much as I'd love it if you did, I know how hard it is to code and make animations/dialogue and so on! My intent right now is simply "I'm bored and i'm in the mood to type a lot" If you want to take the ideas i've written here, do so freely! But until then, I just hope the concepts have been amusing, and that you've felt entertained reading this! Keep up the good work, take your time, and remember to drink water you DINGUS
Hi! I only recently discovered Lotty's Adventure, and I'm so glad I did. It's such a charming and enjoyable game, and I've been having a wonderful time playing it. I was wondering if you have any plans to add support for more languages in future updates. I think it would be wonderful if players from even more countries could experience and enjoy the world of Lotty's Adventure in their own language. I'll be looking forward to every future update and will continue cheering for Lotty's Adventure. Thank you once again for creating such a wonderful game. What will the next Rogue princess update focus on?
Just keep cooking! Make the game you wanna make first and foremost. I’m sure most people’d be fine with waiting anyway.
Think most of us have nothing against waiting a bit more if u stay in touch and the product delievers when its time. On the other hand, small updates are good sometimes like the small RP last dev log. To keep us a bit entertained. Personally I think u handle it very well with sharing ur problems so we understand what is going on or giving sometimes a small Update like in the last post. Pretty sure most here prefer the bigger updates cause more contet. Waiting is okay but as a consumer, there is always that fear that the dev can get lazy and lie about his progress, many devs go that route at some point in time. U seem genuine from what I see, so I am not worried. Being realistc with the schedules and consistent is a big part of it. Personally I like the way u handle things with switching it up some times so u stay motivated and dont burn out and the dev logs are reassuring for us. I would like it more if LA and RP stay in the Main rotation but if u want to switch it up, I atleast am chill with that and I think most of us are

I'm just happy to hear you're still up and at 'em, sorry to hear about the car problems, just make sure you're prioritizing your personal health and needs before focusing on the game. For as much as i'm frothing at the mouth waiting for 5.0 to come out, I know as well as any artist that high quality work takes significant time and resources to develop. Please trust that your fanbase, although eager, is going to be understanding! You're a human first, and a developer second! I'd offer my help as an artist, but, I can't afford aesprite yet, and the free-download for aesprite doesn't work on my pc. If that changes, I'll let you know! I have try lotty's adventurer recently and to be honest its the first game i play from itchio XD i hope you a good continuation on your side and i am excited to see what new will come in the future you have prepared ;)
