YKS Premium S43E01: Videodrome with Howell Dawdy (and Luke Taylor)
INCOMING TRANSMISSION...
In the 1964 book Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man Marshall McLuhan argued that the form a medium of communication takes may shape the way we perceive and interact with the world around us and that the content of a message may be less important than the effect the medium has.
Now, I don't know about all that. I'm just a dumb redneck but I WILL be putting my thoughts together and making a statement about it at a later date. Probably much, much later. Long after you've forgotten about it, I would imagine.
But folks, there's one thing my beautifully broken ass does know: it is once again time to watch some good ass movies. Tonight its the 1983 Cronenberg joint about What if there was a crazy tv show. Yeahh what if there was something crazy on tv.. oh wait, that actually already exists. Its called "Tonights News".
Enough.
Do me a favour and slap that helmet on then open up for me and slide this episode in your stomach slit. Its time for VIDEODROME.
Thank ye: Wavmage, Munimula, Producer Dan, Kacho, Maddalena
