Several hundred episodes in, perhaps we have perfected the podcasting art form with YKS. But there was a time, believe it or not, when all we had was a theme song, a blank Google doc, and a dream. We never recorded an episode with our original micro-premise, but if we did, it would have sounded a little something like this…(with worse microphones)

You know what you should kickstart? A vinyl pressing of all the yks music (if the talented folks who made the tracks are into it anyway) Was it a recent mailbag where someone said have you ever done a project yourself? This is exactly the sort of thing that would definitely get funded, but also you can probably scrape a couple of episodes out of your findings on using Kickstarter as a creator. Not main feed episodes. But you know, when one of the months has too many weeks again and you are short of ideas for the premium eps! There’s 3 billion people in the world. I love the show, I love the music, I love physical media. X that by 3 billion… need I say more? In conclusion, make a bloody project and ideally, make it this one. I appreciate it’s a ton of work but would honestly be something fans of the show would want and you could get a ton of new things to complain about in the podcast intro each week as a bonus!
