What do you do when you want – no, need – to laugh? Many of our fellow citizens are forced to turn to putting a dollar bill on the end of a string and pulling it through a bustling neighborhood. Others become the dreaded BTK Killer. But we know that pranks and brutal killing sprees are no way to turn that frown upside down. We prefer the simple charms of stand-up comedy. So dumb, falling out of windows is a CIA thing, Soviets shot people in the head point blank after leading them down random hallways for awhile.
It’s a longtime knock on the dodgers that their fans, regardless of how well they are playing, are phony LA types and this come late to the games and leave early (with a little of “geez we sure do have traffic in LA huh” sprinkled on)
I often say, unbidden, that the yks boys are the economists of funny, and you know what I'm talking about, The Laugher Curve of course, and what shape is that curve? Why it's a big smile.
