Pretty sure this movie was called The Beach when I watched it.
After Sixth Sense, I do like Signs, the Village and Split, sue me As for Old, a lot of people who are smart about movies (including the Blank Check guys) love this movie, and I don’t get it… but I do think some parts are appropriately upsetting and weird, it has an uncanny vibe and the camerawork is interesting. The last 10 minutes and everything with the vain woman are all-time horrendous though. Also Vicky Krieps gives maybe the best performance of the last decade in Phantom Thread so she's allowed to say whatever dumb shit she wants for a couple more years…
