this is awesome!!!! i made pecan pie for thanksgiving (that's today!) for the first time and it came out very well, so now i wanna try that sugar pie next <3 also wanna try the sweet potato one because i LOOOOVE sweet potatoes, it IS the business

This sharing of the recipes makes me so happy. I wanna try making the sugar pie now! Everyone knkws a grandma recipe is a sacred and delicious thing.
As someone on day one of cooking leading up to this. I approve of all these.
If Ike wants to improve himself as a person, use a generous tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, don't mix in the fried onions, only top with them, and only use 3/4 of a can of mushroom soup. Stir to combine, then at the end use the full container of fried onions and bake until browned. I've been in charge of the green bean casserole for 30 years and these are my preferred alterations to the official recipes.
Yeah Ike went back into the lab for his family's Thanksgiving and threw a little more worch and salt in.
