This reminds me of last time I tried going to a local comedy show. It was a couple okay people, two racists, and one college student from somewhere in the Middle East (he didn't clarify) telling jokes about terrorist attacks. And the poor, poor headliner was a callback comedian who had ***nothing*** to work with but he did what he could. Can't recall his name, but he worked on Boy Meets World. Glad I saw the clusterfuck but I feel for him. Then there was this guy who opened two shows I saw at The Improv back in Pittsburgh. His main joke was about how young people are lazy because they don't make mashed potatoes from scratch. I so badly want to root for people who actually try, but fucking hell. I don't really have a point other than if anyone here doesn't go out to live comedy shows, it can get so very much worse :)
