For those curious: the rise in GLP1 drugs is partly the cause for protein snacks. You need to have a ridiculous amount of daily protein and the drug makes it so you dont eat as much which means a snack is going to keep you satisfied for longer. You need to maximize the amount of protein in every food since you’re eating less in each meal overall.
Yeah, unfortunately a lot of the weight people lose on the drug is actually muscle mass. Muscle mass also uses more of the body's calories to upkeep so if you're not strength training while on a GLP1 you're likely just going to gain all the fat back as soon as you stop, except you'll have less muscle than before.
