With how quickly the war was resolved, I imagine Link and his legion rolling up to the camp and the general's like, "Oh we're working out a peace treaty now, you can all go home." And Link gets a Purple Heart for doing nothing 😆

While I am glad to see these longer seires, I do wish that they would do more one-off stories. Just something to act as a break from these longer fan fics so we can collect ourselves before jumping back in.

It’s almost comical how we know almost nothing about the war. What we know: • A war started in a country that Hyrule is allied with • The king chose to send in knights to assist • The war lasted like 5 months No names. No reason as to why the war started. Like godamn. She’s no stranger to making up non-canon locations names either. She does so at the start of the story and she does a ton later in the story when this turns into a Dragonlance fanfic. I guess the melodrama about Link going off to fight is more important. Which sure. Do you. But give us a little to latch onto. 😭

Think it’s because the war was only a few paragraphs or so in this story, so even though it was months technically, we get no information on what actually happened for him to earn it. (No idea why this comment posted twice, lol. Fixed it.)

I feel like im watching a woman write herself into a horror character that slowly but surly steals Zelda life by making her give her existence away to her slowly but surely. Having Zelda relinquish her mother's broach, the king considering her a full daughter to the point she thinks very strongly she will be queen because Zelda will cease to exist by some means. It feels like cucking in a way. Then link is her emotional and physical sex doll for her own needs.
It will pass to her because Zelda will benevolently hand her queenship over to Jenna as the best choice, bet. What with her heir husband and his children being his heirs, Zelda will think it best. JJ herself has no aptitude, not important, Zelda will consider the queenship safer with her. Just like giving Link and Jenna the Ocarina of Time as a wedding gift: it’s safer with them, for some reason. She wants what Zelda has, but wants absolutely no contention or hurt feelings about it. She gets to dominate Zelda, as Danny put it, without being guilty of being dominant.

Lol it's so funny to hear Jenna make everything about her and her condition. Husband wins a metal for serving in a war, meanwhile Jenna is all, "do you feel the baby kick". There's no "I'm proud of you"? And then the whole usurping succession thing is such a strange concept.
