As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized the sugary cereals truely make me feel so garbage they never used to but once I turned like 16/17 the only sugary cereal I could handle was mini wheats and that’s only because it’s only the top that’s sugary I like honey comb every once and a while but my favorite is in fact grape nuts and mini wheats because mini wheats are nostalgic because my grandma would buy them for me when I was little

To be fair, they're... well, A, old, and B, Arin generally lives pretty healthily, so his body's no longer accustomed to the good shit in life.
fun fact! the global supply chain for cocoa had a massive shortage recently, which *may* have caused companies which make cocoa-based products to do everything they can to get by while using less or lower quality cocoa in their stuff. I wonder if this has anything to do with the distaste for chocolate cereals in this episode.
I, myself, have noticed a MASSIVE quality decrease in chocolate cereals.

Fun fact- I tried Coco Puffs for the first time about one hour before I saw my first Game Grumps live show at the Stone Pony in NJ. I needed a quick sugar boost and it was the only thing that the little cafe inside of my hotel had available (it was close to their closing time). I was reluctant at first to try them but my boyfriend insisted that they were good and that I would like them. He was correct! Now I always associate them with the grumps in my mind.
I love how it got to the point that Arin lived an entire second life in the middle of eating multiple cereals.
When Baby Shark was popular, I bought my kid that cereal. It was Fruit Loops ish. She had some upstairs in a snacky cup and I have a black light for space decorations. That light made that stuff GLOW. I immediately threw out the rest of the box...
frankly, I'm disappointed Arin didn't have anything to say about Carmella Creeper as a mascot. "Who is she?"

Cookie Crisp is one of the greatest tragedies of our time. In my childhood, it was the best cereal ever made - that shit was fucking _delicious,_ dawg. And my parents would only spring for it every now and then, so it was a rare treat to me! Then at some point, they completely changed the formula, and it looks mostly the same but it's goddamn disgusting. I wish I had never tried modern Cookie Crisp and tainted my memories of my childhood cereal. These days, I'm mostly into honey flavored cereals. Honey Graham Toasters by Malt-O-Meal is my current favorite. It's not *healthy* by any means, but it's really good.

For the sake of my blood sugar integrity I have fully embraced the doppelganger cereals like Magic Spoon. As a kid i also loved grapenuts tho, the only cereal that is also caltrops.

Cocoa Pebbles in F is a travesty. Having had Carmella Creeper I can easily say it's truly horrifying stuff. Oh and also Capn Crunch and Crunch Berries are essentially the same cereal, pretty funny they wound up in two vastly different tiers. Shame they couldn't try Sour Patch Kids cereal, feel like Dan would've LOOOOOOVED that

it's so different to me how low y'all rate reese's pieces, because my brother eats cereal all the time and LOVES them. they are a staple in my house believe it or not!! he also likes cinnamon toast crunch and honey nut cheerios, but the pieces are his favorite.
