Another update for RealityV Enhanced edition. I fixed some user-reported bugs, added the darker-nights version of RealityV, enhanced night-time RTGI and lighting, also added rainbows to GTA 5!
Added 5 unique rainbows that appear during the Clearing weather (daytime only)
Added a version of RealityV with darker nights - SEE THE DIFFERENCE
RealityV now works with the Rockstar Launcher version of the game out of the box
Improved performance, stability and mod compatibility
Improved night-time RTGI, now it's much more prominent
Improved signs, buildings and neon lighting across the map
Fixed some flickering that happened only during night-time

I love this mod, thank you so much for making it public too. However it seems like the recent update has broken something and now the game crashes on the startup animation. Any way to fix that?

Great mod
Honestly, this is the one. This one is a balanced and carefully crafted to fit properly within the game's ancient engine. It makes proper use of the new RT systems to ensure the whole scene looks cohesive. I tried NVE. I didn't like it. It's too buggy and most of the time it doesn't look good. I'm replaying the game from the beginning. NVE had too many issues with the hazy AO, flickering shadows and overall unsuitable tone for gameplay.
Does it includes white street lights?
Not yet no. But other light mods are fully compatible.
Wow, just wow. Absolutely beautiful visuals, and maybe a very slight FPS hit if at all. Just tried ChromatiX before this and it looked good, but this one hits way better IMO. Thank you so much for sharing
Glad you like the mod! It's being worked on since 2021 believe it or not. On top of that, i mainly optimized this for performance + gameplay the best I could.
I wish there was a version that removed lens flare. In certain weathers it can cover the whole screen and really takes me out of the action, very unimmersive IMO. Also as another poster stated some night-time weathers have a crazy amount of stars, reducing the number and visibility I think would help a lot, I'm using the darker nights version so it probably sticks out extra.
Once mod manager tools come around, I will make a bunch of optional add-ons available, including no lens flare option. And the star issue is because it's not possible for me to port my milky way skydome from legacy GTA 5 just yet. All will be addressed in due time.
Will this disable achievements?
Nope. Only activating cheat-codes disables achievements to my knowledge.
feedback :) - Some clouds patterns look weird.. (i checked them through rampage trainer and im not sure if they actually appear in game :p) -in some weather night sky has too many stars.. like unrealistic amounts of stars. -sun's size is so much different between sunny and clear weather. i mean it should be same. -the lightning strike is too large in thunder weather . it should be like base game.. smaller.
- Clouds are still a work in progress. I will be replacing them with volumetric clouds when they're ready. (You can see their preview on my Discord). - I currently cannot covert my custom skydome to Enhanced. It has a proper milky-way texture, so once tools become advanced enough, I'll port that, and the sky will look just fine. - I'll look into adjusting the sun across all weather types. - My custom lightning doesn't work properly on the Enhanced version just yet, I will also look into this.
Can I play GTA Online with this mod?
You shouldn't play online with mods.
Really enjoying this. Is there anyway we can edit the DLClist ourselves to add mods? I’m trying to incorporate Lively World Expansion too
Until mod installers and managers become a thing you'd have to do it manually. Google for Codewalker, go to it's gta5-mdos page, then join it's Discord, there you will find links to the tool. You can edit the game just fine with it. But keep in mind, make sure other mods you wish to use have versions made specifically for Enhanced, otherwise you might crash the game.
Hi BB, first of all thanks for your work, I did everything as instructed, inserted all the folders, but I don't see any difference from before, is there a way to see if your mod is working? I also downloaded the dark nights but they are still light.. :(
If you followed the readme and installed the mod as instructed, you should see RealityV's custom intro video when starting the game. I suggest you ask on my Discord for quicker responses about issues and such.
Will it work on RTX 4050 as it has 6GB of video memory?

As I said in the post, no. Not until we get proper mod installer and mod manager tools.

Looks really great, but it crashes when I modify the .rpf file with other mods. For example, installing Drive V alone is enough to crash on startup, saying 'there's corrupted files'. Any ideas? This doesn't happen with other graphical mod overhauls.
Same issue, Im afraid there is some overlap in the files changed by these two mods
awesome!! u improved it a lot. sunsets, sunrise and nights looks beautiful. idk if u tweaked raindrops, but they look amazing now.
