This week's video
I do have a video for you guys this week, it's just taking a bit to get it ready. Sorry for the delay, but I'll have it for you by the end of the day, one way or another!

I love this idea. I have enough 1/4" left over from another project, and this seems like a great way to use it. I'm toying with the idea of chain attachment points at the corners so I just roll loader forks over top and then run chains to lift and move it. Maybe use angle iron around edges to stiffen it, but that would still depend upon the sheet for rigidity vs the point loads from vehicle lift. I'm very open to ideas
Really interesting to watch this Jon, especially interesting to see your experience with TIG. My experience of making mesh easier to look through is to paint it black, it just seems to make it easier for your eyes to focus through it. Thank you for all the great videos this year, wIshing you, Jennifer and the family a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year!
I would ❤️ love❤️ if you did a patron only Q&A or even better an unlisted YT livestream q&a.
Looking forward to it as always. And I agree, the only worry I have is did Marge sneak up and bite him? Content idea for when you want to take a brake and have some fun. Anvil launching. Looks awesome and it would draw a SWAT team if I tried it here in California suburbs. 😂 Merry Christmas!
Have a week or two off man. You deserve it.
Totally worth waiting for, but I’ve got 3 hours on a plane right now and I know how I’d like to spend at least one hour of it!
We can wait, no hurry. But on a completely different topic: Did I go mad or is a video missing in the series in which you build a bronze cannon? I could swear to god I saw you firing the thing. Did YouTube had something to do with it? "Manufacturing firearms" or some other stupid reason?
Yes. I never put that on YouTube. It was on full30 but they went under.
We all know its worth waiting for and I for sure will enjoy it. Always appreciate your time and effort Jon, you always do us proud..
It’s ready when it’s ready - you have a farm to run and livestock to care for - that’s the priority
We all appreciate the tremendous amount of work you put into your videos Jon. Keep up the great work!
Your videos are so well done, I for one don’t mind the wait.
Jon, we are all part of a community you’ve built around your life, your farm, your skills, and yourself, as a person/presenter/creator. The only thing that happens when a video is late is that some of us start worrying about you. Did he fall off a ladder? Did he get electrocuted by 400v of raw DC pixie rage? So a post like this is nice. Makes it easy to settle in for the wait. It’s very appreciated. It’s “good customer service” and demonstrates your commitment to your audience and your craft. But you certainly don’t have to apologize to anyone but yourself for missing your goal. The rest of us are just glad something prompted you to pick up a camera in the first place!
WHY the apology your not working for us. We are simply hoping to look in on what you are working on. However, the suspense is building. 😁
I know, but I've set a goal for myself to get these videos out to you guys by Wednesday at the latest. When I don't meet that goal...it bugs me! ;-)
No problem 😉
