The most popular ones suggested was Home Alone 1 & 2, Bad Santa, Gremlins, Trade Places, and Christmas Vacation. We have all seen those. Great films!

Yes to The Polar Express and The Nightmare Before Christmas (this one may be a bit short though), but how is the Grinch not winning? Jim Carrey is hilarious, so many great lines.

Looks like The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Polar Express have early leads - both will be excellent for stimulating the holiday imagination ⛄️. Assuming that the poll holds : If you want to maximize the film-induced build-up of the 🤶 holiday mood ❄️, may I suggest that you watch the 2 films in chronological order - Nightmare first, then Polar Express second - to enhance the flow of the emotional and mental immersion leading up to the holidays ( for reasons that will become apparent after ).
You’re all kids of the 80’s like me and none of you have seen 1985’s Santa Clause the movie?! How can this be? I watched that movie every Christmas as a kid because of tradition. 😁
I am apparently a rare one because I hate holiday movies..... like H.A.T.E. them. 🤣🤷♀️🤦♀️I've tried so many times in life to get on board with watching them but I just can't make it through lolol. The one & only holiday film I enjoy and have even watched SEVERAL times is Love Actually. And I think it's more about my love of Brit Rom-Coms than the holiday. But I know most people absolutely love them so I'm DEF in the minority here..... maybe even the only person alive who cant stand them!🤣🤣🤣🤔It wouldn't surprise me if I was lol
Disappointed you included Jim Carey’s Grinch instead of Benedict Cumberbatch’s. BC’s is so much better imo. I am probably in the minority in that I don’t like Elf, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Polar Express. 😋
Nightmare Before Christmas is one of those movies that big because of the nostalgia but once I watched it again it wasn't as good as I thought.
I personally never thought it was that great. To me it's more of a Tim Burton movie than a Christmas movie. It has all the hallmarks of it. That snot to say it's bad, I just don't think it's that great or special. Polar Express, on the other hand...

Another suggestion: Rise of the Guardians. Incredible voice cast and really cool concepts. Genuinely beautiful - it's one of my favorites.
