Gosh this sound track was awesome in this one! Again, another great episode. This one they worked in a little tourney of sorts. Glad to see the payed off ref didn't get his way in this one. And Tori going to tell Sam the truth?

I've been to a few karate tournaments (not as a fighter, just a spectator), and I never saw anyone with pads in any of them. Granted, I'm in Canada, and this was 25 years ago or so, so things may have changed, or they may be different where you are, Oak. I remember, I really enjoyed watching them.
I don’t know if this was mentioned in any other comments here or on YouTube but the thing with Silver’s plan for Cobra Kai goes beyond just teenage karate. They mentioned in an earlier episode that CK offers adult classes. They want their version of karate to be the only one. Doesn’t matter if it’s kids or adults - Silver wants the Way of the Fist as the be all end all of the sport. He doesn’t give a damn about any kids or the art of the thing. That was shown when he tried to talk Kreese into the big tournament in the flashback but Kreese actually cared about teaching. Somewhere between that moment and the first Karate Kid, he forgot why he’d gotten into owning a dojo.
