Well, I know I'm fairly new here, but I would be willing to take my subscription up a notch if you decide to go with the Telegram reserve idea for your spicier work.

I don‘t know if I‘m allowed to say something and I don‘t know exactly how the rule applies. But if the characters only have to give verbal consent, would it be enough to just make a quick sketch of the characters where they do exactly that and put this as the first image? Respectively just make an alt version of the artwork and give them speech bubbles where they consent, if it has to be said in every artwork. You then put the real version in the files? I don‘t know how the algorithm works, which is supposed to find that either. Filtering through furry art of so many styles seems impossible, so it actually has to be people behind doing it. And if so, every method might be found out eventually. Moving to another platform might be the only option in a long term. I don‘t want to miss out on your art, especially the NC stuff…

Good luck. Other artists I follow do this and it's not great (I for one am not downloading your great work, I just like to see it on here from time to time). However, please be careful. I've seen two just get booted from Patreon for simple adult content. Document as many of your supporters as possible so you don't lose track of us.

Between telegram or discord, I'd much prefer a telegram channel, I think it works better for an art feed type of thing.

It seems to me like a good compromise for a shitty situation, thought I think a discord server would work better than a telegram link. If you use discord you can create channels related to each tier. That way you can keep the same tier structure with their related rewards. I don't know if Patreon would allow the integration though or if it would be in violation of the ToS

I'm a moron when it comes to a lot of the on line services and how they work. It seems everyone wants to control everyone. As a Libertarian I find this type of behavior so Jr. High School. As long as I can enjoy my adult artwork I appreciate the work and effort you're putting in to make the change as seamless as possible.

Subscribestar is an option, but at the moment, it does seem like your idea is the most concrete and immediate.

I have seen a few artists do The Most Pain In The Ass Thing that seems to be the most bullshit proof: Set up their own website with Everything (the whole back catalog, organized in galleries, sketches, animations, games, etc), and use Verotel/VTSup (European CC processor) to work out the 'Art Here, gib money' membership for fans to throw money at the art-stripper pole and get access to the champagne website with all the good stuff. They still use patreon and subscribestar and gumroad and whatever rotating wheel of enshittifying services that will occasionally audit all the smut-artists whenever some Venture Capitalist or Payment Processor is like "I saw something that was too kinky and still felt funny in my no no parts so I don't wanna give you any of my spare money anymore"... but all roads lead back to ForgeWalfhammerArt.com or whatever and the hook is basically "well, if you want to spend [highest tier] you can go to my website and see a whole bunch of stuff you won't even get here at [not main website]." And then instead of telling folks "aww shit, patrostar hit me with a banhammer, move over to gumtreon where I'll send you links to my DropBox until they get wise and kick me out when their TOS shift...!" you can just go "well, I'm other places, but if you head over to my website you won't have to move again."

I would not make any changes until Patreon forces you. Make them explain the specific things you have to address in a support message if you get a notice. Also I would vastly prefer a Discord channel over Telegram if you have to post stuff elsewhere.

Well, as a Silver Hammer, I guess I'm a bit disappointed. I doubt that many people subscribed for the "Safe" stuff. This means we'll be losing out on stuff we used to get before?

I think this is a good idea you have come up with Forge. I plan to keep supporting artists such as yourself, regardless of the stupid decisions of corporate executives, in whatever way I can.

Sounds like a good stop-gap measure until a more suitable, long-term solution comes up! I'm so pissed off at what all these content sites are doing...

I know you're not being given much of a choice but I'm not a fan of having to scour through Telegram to see and save the content I'm paying for. With Patreon or Subscribestar.adult I have automated tools that take care of it for me.

I have one concern tho, hasn't Patreon been notorious for going after creators on other platforms and banning them for posting content that isn't in accordance with their bullshit puritan guidelines there? So like, if you distribute invites through patreon to places where you post stuff they don't like, isn't that a fasttrack to getting banned here? I mean, it's at least some layer of protection I guess, I just don't know how long it holds up.

What exactly is the type of content that will no longer be allowed here, and will be moved to Telegram?

I'm apparently a little out of the loop. Can someone explain 'Patreon Safe' first of all? Needing to be in the Adamantine tier to see anything else feels a bit excessive, though I suppose it depends what exactly is being filtered into it.
