The Fight Against Pirates and What I Decided to Do.

Hi there. I want to start by thanking everyone who supports me, and I’ll keep trying to bring you great content.

As for the pirates and my fight against them: I’ve come to realize that this does more harm than good—both for me and for you. Why? I keep trying to come up with new ways to combat them and impose restrictions. While that sometimes works, it’s you—my dear patrons—who end up suffering. So, I’m going back to the way things were before. I’ve already restored some of the content that used to be available at the "Crazy Muscle Fan" tier—specifically, the animations and the 2025 folder.

No, I haven't given up; I’ve simply accepted the situation. People who use pirate sites wouldn't pay for a subscription anyway, and I don't want to force anyone or negatively affect my current supporters. So, things are going back to the way they were. The Discord channel I recently opened will remain. I’ll also continue posting links to my various works, just as before. Thanks again to everyone for the support, and have a wonderful morning, day, evening, or night.

i understand your frustrations with the Pirate situation. but just to play devils advocate here, consider this. many of the so called Pirates are in fact people who would happily sub to your Patreon if they could. in at least a few cases, they utilize those sites because they simply lack the financial ability to sub to your content. not because they do not want to, but because they cannot, for whatever reason, do so. does that make what they are doing right? no, it does not. but in some cases it is the only option they have. the issue, is that many Patreon accounts overcharge for their content. yes, you should be allowed to charge what you think your content is worth. i do not dispute this at all. but many content creators have started to get greedy and are overcharging, simply because they CAN. this has lead to a toxic rise of Piracy out of necessity in some cases. in other cases, the site i am certain you are referring to, while a piracy site? does serve a second purpose. it is an archive. there are patreon creators whose entire page, and all the content they made, has been deleted from the digital aether. and those sites? are the only place where their content still exists. now, i would like to reiterate that i do NOT in fact support those sites, nor do i support their blatant acts of digital piracy. this is me playing Devils advocate and explaining the other side of things. i completely understand your frustration and agree that the Piracy situation is ridiculous. as do many others. a good chunk of them include certain users of the site you dislike so much. and having spoken to a few? many have said if they could AFFORD to subscribe and support their favorite creators? they would in a heartbeat. but the world economy being what it is? they lack the financial ability to support those creators. your own account has been mentioned as a creator they would love to support if they had the money. i personally do not use THAT site, but like them, i lack the finances to sub to your content. i would love to, but i cannot. it is because of this that i understand the mindset involved. even if i do not support it. again, i do not support THAT site. this is in no way meant to advocate piracy in any way. merely explain that there often are extenuating circumstances, and you cannot color every user of certain websites with the same brush. i hope the situation resolves itself soon, and you can get things back to normal. and i PRAY for a day sites like the one i will not name, are no longer needed nor desired. good luck and thank you for your time.

Thank you for your input. It’s a valid and logical point that I didn’t come to right away. Now that I understand it better, I’ll try to create something more enjoyable and appealing for the price I’m asking for my content. I’ll write another post to explain what they’ll get for each subscription option. Seven years ago, I couldn’t even afford a $5 subscription myself, let alone one for $20 or more. So thank you for your comment, and I’ll think about how to improve the situation.
