Newsletter - December 2023

Greetings everyone!

November was an experimental month. I appreciate everyone who came along for the ride. After taking some time to step back and review, I reached some conclusions.

Monthly Updates and Weekly Developer Insights

I'll be making changes to content delivery times beginning in December 2023. Rather than pushing new updates weekly, we will return to a monthly update schedule. However, I will continue to release new videos, screenshots, and developer notes each week. The change makes each update more discoverable while keeping patrons close to the development process. The same amount of content is released each month.

Still Experimenting

Map Builder X is still in the experimental phase. Entry-level patrons will continue to receive new MBX Packs in December 2023. Moving forward, I plan to create expansions rather than small object packs. Additional changes and upgrades will come in January 2024. For now, enjoy the new Light Fixtures pack releasing this month!

Patreon Tier Changes

The following tiers will be updated based on the changes described in this post. All other tiers not listed are unaffected by this change.

• $20 Weekly Updates -> $20 Monthly Updates

Thank you for another great month, patrons! More is on the way this December and beyond!
