Map Builder in 2020
Patrons have made it possible to push development into the new year, congrats! Map Builder is getting some major work done behind the scenes. I think that this year has the potential to take Map Builder further than ever before.
Map Builder Mod - The final content update is coming to the Map Builder Mod this year. This version will be separate from the new Map Builder on patreon.
Creator Bundle - The Creator Bundle will be treated as an optional add-on for the new Map Builder on patreon. Including all Map Builder Mod props and exclusives.
????? - A new version of Map Builder is coming this year!
Changes and Improvements
I've evaluated questions from last year and decided to make some quality of life changes for everyone. I understand that many users want more transparency when it comes to Map Builder and patreon. Over time I think these changes will benefit all of us.
Video Tutorial Series - I've discovered that many of you are visual learners. I'm currently developing a series of videos to help teach you about Map Builder.
Exclusive Direct Support - I've learned that I spend most of my time answering questions. I want to incorporate more of that time into developing. Everyone can access tutorial videos and instructions. I want to give more of myself to patrons. Direct support is now available exclusively for patrons.
Redefining Updates - Updates are not only about adding props each month. Sometimes it's more important to fix persisting issues. In any case, it takes time to develop these updates. Content updates could turn into an improvement update from time to time.
Delivering Updates - All finished updates will post on the same day of the month. Standard and Deluxe editions are guaranteed monthly updates. Higher tiers will include its predecessor's tier updates on the same day.
