Monthly Conclusion February 2019
Hello again patrons. We are off to a fresh start after February. Map Builder for Patrons 3 early access is out now with all new features and props. This is the beginning of something completely new. Keep reading for more information, and also see what's coming up next.
Map Builder for Patrons 3 (Early Access) - Features
This month, we launched early access for version 3. Many new features are available. Single OIV installation, ongoing prop quality updates, single uninstall OIV option, multi-mod dlc compatibility, data reduction, fivem version generates to the main directory, custom objectlist.ini and proplist.txt compatibility, install logs, and more. So many new features are available for 3.00.0 or later.
Map Builder for Patrons 3 (Early Access) - Props
The first wave of new props is here. This month, we take it back to the basics. All new v3 blocks are available to download in early access. Each of these props have unique detail, normal, and specular texture maps. This makes props even more realistic. They will now react to the types of weather. For example, the new asphalt prop will have a "wet look" during a thunderstorm. Props will also react to light sources naturally now, keeping every detail looking sharp and clean.
Standard Access - Map Builder for Patrons 3
Everything is still a work in progress. I need more time to ensure that everything is exactly where I want it. The first update for standard access patrons is coming in March!
Map Builder Classic Props
I will be coming out with a Map Builder for Patrons 2 update. The project will be renamed to Map Builder: Classic Props to make way for version 3. The less confusion with the names the better. I want to keep all previous version 2 props working with version 3. Multiple changes are coming, but everything will still be available to download. More on this later.
Many New Props in 2019
I sat down for two weeks straight and just created new props. I'm taking my time to make things exactly the way I want them. Just know that I have plenty of stuff coming your way very soon. I'm very excited about March.
Thank you to everyone who pledged in February. See you in March!
