Early Notes for 3.00.0

Map Builder for Patrons 3 is a completely new project that I'm developing from scratch. It will be completely separate from version 2. This brand new version of Map Builder will be very different. Keep reading for more information below.

The Beginning (not an update)

It's important to note that this is the beginning of a new project. This is NOT an update from an older version 2 build. Version 3 will function as a completely new DLC mod for GTA V. This decision has been made following the recent events caused by the latest GTA V update.

Quality > Quantity

We can no longer pack 1000's of props into a single modified DLC. In version 3, every prop will be uploaded to serve a specific purpose. I will NOT add 100's of variations of the same prop anymore. I will take my time to maintain quality in each update. Quality is the most important factor of version 3.

Experimental Version 2 Compatibility

Map Builder for Patrons 3 will have version 2 compatibility. You may run into resource issues by using both versions together. This will be an experimental feature for the end user. Future updates may improve the stance of this feature. For now, there are limits to how much data you can pack into a DLC.
